Yannig Livory - CINT 56
Yannig Livory, skipper and KANNAD partner, set off yesterday for the first leg of the Figaro Race, which sails from Lorient (Brittany) to La Coruña (Spain).
The 52 competitors started under the sun and 11 knot wind. The skippers had to veer a buoy North West of the island of Groix, before setting out for La Coruña. Yannig Livory was in 11 th position when he passed the buoy, a very good performance!
For his safety on the race, Yannig is equipped with the XS-3 KANNAD PLB, which completes the other safety equipments on board: a KANNAD distress beacon, an Activ’Echo as well as an Iridium beacon.
