Yannig Livory at the Transat BPE

Yannig is leaving for race

This race is the first one of Yannig Livory’s program, before the Figaro Solo race and the Tour of Brittany. KANNAD, who is partner of the skipper, equips him with a Kannad 406 Manual GPS beacon and an Activ’Echo

“It’s time to go” said Yannig some hours only before the start from Belle-Ile en Mer (French island of the Atlantic Ocean, part of Brittany) to Marie-Galante. Weather conditions were ideal for the spectators, and the start of the race was calm for the skippers. But today the wind may come!

The whole fleet is equipped with a Kannad distress beacon and with an Activ’Echo, as well as an Iridium beacon, made by Kannad and distributed by CLS.

We are going to follow the evolution of Yannig on this race and wish him Good Luck!
